Disclaimer

I am many things: a husband, a father, an entrepreneur, and a recovering pastor. Through these experiences, I perceive both the grandiose and the minutiae. Much of what you'll find here reflects my ontological reveries as I journal for personal growth and perhaps leave an additional layer of Dad's perspectives on faith for my children. Relieved from the treadmill of religious and secular moralism, I'm embracing a more enthralling reality. Some label it stoicism, but I lean towards what I call philosophical hospitality—it's something more nuanced than the binary of good vs. bad. There is darkness, there is light, there is ugly, there is beauty, there is sadness, there is joy, there is slavery, there is freedom, and there is so much more to the story. These concepts and categories shape my thoughts and writings. I invite everyone to engage in this community, whether to participate or simply to read another perspective.

Professionally

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Reformation Brewery, I am passionate about fostering authentic relational cultures that enable community engagement and personal growth. It’s not merely about beer or spirits; Reformation embodies a gift of moments, conversations, and community. I believe that the power of a community can overshadow the pride of an individual. By participating, loving, and engaging with the communities I am privileged to be a part of, I gain valuable perspectives on faith and a sense of fulfillment. This journey reflects the essence of philosophical hospitality and a stoic approach to life. Here we stand.
